Sometimes I don't feel like writing and since I'm young and hip, I can call my other young and hip friends to fill in for me. Smart, intelligent, baseball fans who are happy to do it. Like the star of Charmed and Charles in Charge Who's The Boss?, Alyssa Milano!
Hiya! I know what ur probably thinking, like omigod what is she doing here? Shouldn't she be acting in some super successful movie or attending some glitzy red carpet event? What you might not know about me, Alyssa Milano, is that I love baseball! Like so much! I even wrote a book about it. Now I know youare all huge fans and probably have like a million questions for me so I'll just try to get a few of the big ones out of the way.
Yes, I dated Barry Zito.
Yes, I dated Brad Penny.
Yes, I dated Carl Pavano.
No, I didn't realize at the time how bad he sucked.
Ditto Fred Durst.
Yes, Kirk Cameron. A million times yes.
And by the way, they're real and they're spectacular.
But the real question is: why am i writing about the Brewers? Well, it's just because I love baseball so much! I even wrote a book about it (now available in stores everywhere)! Man, do I love baseball. When they pitch strikes and they swing those sticks for a run home, it's so exhilarating! I love it more than acting! neways, I'm rambling so on to the series preview:
Milwaukee Brewers @ Houston Astros
For the first time this season the Brewers play a team that is projected to like really suck (I know all about sucking, I was in Embrace of the Vampire, hehe!) Using Diamond Mind projections here are the Brewers first six opponents of the season:
The Astros are like, the worst team they've played. The Brewers at 6-9 (I know all about 6-9, that was my room number on Melrose Place, hehe) and could end up coming home to Milwaukee at .500 where the Pirates will be waiting for them. The Brewers will send Gallardo to the mound on Friday, followed by Suppan and Parra for the finale while the Astros are throwing out Felipe Paulino (any relation to Ronny? I know all about brothers, I was in Double Dragon!), Mike Hampton and Russ Ortiz. I think these are all good matchups for the Crew and they have a good chance in this series.
Player to watch: Ryan Braun
Ryan Braun has started to to get hot (he's always hot lol), he went 8 for 10 with 3 homeruns and 6 RBIs in the series against the Phillies. He's so cute too. Is he single? I saw his Remington commercial and let me say, I've never been so jealous of Marissa Miller before (and not just because she got to work.) He can sign my balls anytime, hehe!
It's so hard for me to make a pick here because there are so many guys I want to date good players on each team, but I think I have to go with the Brewers winning this series 2-1. Their bats are just too big and that game Bush pitched should be a real turning point. And Ryan Braun is locked in like a killer right now and I know all about killers, I played Amy Fisher in a made for TV movie!
Whatever the result this should be a good series because I just love baseball so much! Go Packers!
