The season is
just around the corner here and the Milwaukee Brewers are currently one of the favorites in the NL Central, but that doesn't mean it's a sure thing. There are still five other teams that want the title who will be fighting for it all season. Do they have a shot? That's what we're going to find out as we work with fans from other teams to figure out how everything is going to play out and exactly what it is we're dealing with. That's right it's the 2011 NL Central Previews!
Today's Guest: The Pirates are going to make the playoffs guy
TAKE THAT CARDINALS!
TAKE THAT BREWERS!
TAKE THAT CUBS!
THAT THAT ASTROS, FIND A NEW BUDDY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STANDINGS! HOW ABOUT THE BREWERS? HAHAHA. 0-4 WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE, US?! HAHAHA
Make no mistake about it, this isn't a fluke. Our young guys are ready THIS YEAR, not next. Neil Walker is an All-Star bro. So is Andrew McCutcheon. He's like the black Andy Van Slyke. Only not as good, but still amazing. Jose Tababta: best leadoff man in baseball? Just imagine when Pedro Alvarez starts hitting, we'll be unstoppable! Joel Hanrahan is totally going to win Rolaids Relief Man of the Year too. Charlie Morton is finally turning his great stuff into great starts. Shades of Andy Van Slyke, if AVS pitched. The Cardinals couldn't touch that sinker! We're unstoppable bro! Wild Card here we come!
Y'all are probably hating on the Pirates and saying things like "it's a long season" and "you played the Cubs", but this team is for real. We're not going to be like the Padres last year and fade down the stretch. Our pitching is too good (Kevin Correria FTW) and our hitting matches up with any team in the league. We are for real. I bet my Andy Van Slyke rookie card on it.
1. Reds 91-71
2. Pirates 90-72
3. Cardinals 80-82
4. Cubs 78-84
5. Astros 72-90
6. Brewers 0-162
SUCK IT MILWAUKEE! YOU ARE OUR MOST HATED RIVALS!
(Ed. note: We are?)
YES YOU ARE! GOD! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!
