What are these people smoking?

Just checked out the always enjoyable for all the wrong reasons Anthony Witrado chat from last week and seriously, what is wrong with you people? Are you stoned? I do not like Anthony Witrado, this is well known, but I am starting to think that A-dub is just Charles Manson and the people who participate in these chats are the ones out killing people. Look at some of these questions, it is not pretty.
Q: Michael, Chicago - Thanks for all of your hard work this season Anthony.
Work? He's talking about the time he spends in the mirror adjusting his hat sideways right?
Q: stu pidasso, westallica - hi anthony. just for fun, let's pretend you're doug melvin.
WHY? WHY DO YOU THINK THIS WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA? I've got a better one. Let's pretend you are David Carradine. Here's a belt.
Q: Justink8996 - Do you guys have an update on Alcides "baby mama" drahma? Kinda hard to root for a guy who is a dead beat dad? Guess it would be pretty awkward as a journalist to even ask him about it? "Oh Alcides by the way...." Read more...

Posted by Vince MoralesOnce a website or a person gets a certain amount of success and influence in the world, they tend to want to give back to the community (unless they're a real asshole). You see this all over the place. Actors, musicians, bloggers, all doing stuff for free and the proceeds going to a worthy cause. I think that I've reached the point in my career where it's my turn to give back to the community, but what should I give back to? Cancer? Been done. AIDs? Done. Homelessness? No thanks.
You see when I give back, I want it to be something that really matters to me. Something near and dear to my heart. Something like... tailgating, but how do I give back to tailgating? Well, let's have my dear friend from Wisconsin Sports Tap explain. Read more...
FROM THE OUTBOX
Posted by Vince MoralesSome people love our site. Some people hate it. Some take offense to things that are written here and send me four emails over the weekend. The gist of it?
Please kindling remove the posting of the expunged image and kindly take down my communication from your posting, my communication was not posted on the comment board and was sent directly to your e-mail address only.
Could you please provide contact imformation as to how I can send you the expunged documents from the WI Dept Of Justice.?
I have removed your name and image from the posting. Beyond that I see no reason for me to change anything on my website and I am only doing this so that you will stop contacting me. I do not care to see copies of your expunged documents and the fact that you want my contact information worries me based on your history. Please do not contact me any further.
Good reasons to go home

Last week I wrote an article about people leaving Brewers games early and how there isn't really a good excuse for it. Apparently some of you took this as a challenge to prove me wrong and sent me almost 10,000 emails on the subject. Which is weird because we only have like 15 readers. Anyways, some of you made good points and some of you made bad points. I will attempt to respond to your emails here in hopes that the emailing will stop.
My wifes water broke at a game and I had to rush her to the hospital in the 5th inning. The Brewers went on to score 6 runs and came from behind to win.- Jack K, New Berlin
Aww, congratulations. That's sweet. Read more...
Hey everybody let’s go home!

I was at the game on Wednesday and it was a good time. Yes, the Brewers lost. I know because I was there and I stayed for the whole thing. It wasn't a bad loss though. The team fought til the end and had a runner on third at the end of the ninth that would have tied the game. Cameron did his best to fight off the tough pitches, but he ended up popping out. It happens, it's baseball. The point is that I got to see the entire thing play out. I got to see Hoffman take down his former team easily in the ninth. I got to see Prince get a big hit. I got to see Escobar steal a big base in the ninth. I got to see it all and the reason I got to see it all wasn't because I had good seats or because I am Ryan Braun's favorite blogger. No, I got to see it all because, and you are not going to believe this, I STAYED FOR THE ENTIRE GAME!
I know, crazy right? I bought tickets to a baseball game and I actually stayed for the whole thing and watched it. Not because I am like this crazy obsessed baseball fan who needs a perfect scorecard, but because the team had a good chance to win and I wanted to see them do it! I KNOW!!! RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look, it's your money and you can do what you want with it. After a really exciting 7th inning when the team pulled within one I had the good feeling that they were going to be able to comeback and win the game. After the 8th, when the team didn't score I still hadn't given up hope. Apparently everyone else did because a ton of people left after the eighth inning. Why? I have no idea. To me there are only three reasons to leave a game and they are as follows: Read more...
