Have you ever ate for the cycle? Have you even ever heard of eating for the cycle? If you haven't done it or haven't even heard of it, I don't even know what to say to you. I mean, really? You call yourself a Brewers fan and don't even know what eating for the cycle is? Are you kidding me?
Ahem. For the uninitiated I offer a brief FAQ.
What is eating for the cycle?
Eating for the cycle is when you eat all four of the Klements sausages available at Miller Park venues.
What are the four sausages?
The four sausages are: the hot dog, the bratwurst, the Italian and the Polish. You may also know them from that race where sausages run around.
Oh yeah, but what about the chorizo? Are you racist?
Of course not! My understanding is "the cycle" was invented before chorizo was added to the race in 2006. The races themself have gone on since Robin Yount retired and people have been eating a lot of sausage at Brewers games since man invented the wheel.
So, I do or don't have to eat the chorizo?
I'm going to go with no. You don't have to eat a burger, you know? However, those who eat for the cycle +1, should get some sort of award. Like an angioplasty.
Do I have to do this when they win the race?
No, this is another tradition that some people partake in where you have to eat the sausage of the winner of the race. The cycle is not directly tied to the race. The cycle is directly tied to overeating.
What do I put on my sausages?
Is this a serious question? It's always Stadium Sauce. I'm fairly certain Stadium Mustard is only available to weed out the real Brewers fans and possibly poison visiting Cubs fans.
Do I have to do this every game?
Depends on how many you go to, but I don't reccommend doing it more than a couple of times per season. Some only do it once to say they have done it, to them I tip my cap.
Have you ever done it?
This isn't about me.
That's a no, isn't it?
