Brewers Baby returns to make fun of people who post their pictures on a newspaper’s website

Yesterday I made fun of some of the people who read the JSOnline and just a few minutes later I got a sternly worded letter from my good friend Brewers Baby who was pissed off at me for stealing his thunder. "Making fun of the twats that read the Journal Suckinel is MY territory MPD," he said. I realized that he was correct and now turn the site over to him.DanandMickey-1

BREWERS BABY The good news is I will never have to play with the kids of these toolboxes. Why? Because who in their right mind would bang these losers. I thought Cervecerros day was for Latinos, not D&D nerds. There is no chance that these guys don't jerk off to The Guild.

MPD Field Trip: Wrigley Field Part dos

Jody Gerut HR

Despite the silliness of some fans, the game itself was pretty good. It would have been nice if my favorite players did a bit better (Cameron, Gamel and Escobar went a combined 1 for 10), but Cam did have the first RBI and do one of the most awesome things I have ever seen (more on this later).

The game was cruising along in the fourth when the Brewers managed to load the bases. That was the good news. The bad news was that there was two outs and Jody Gerut was at the plate. At 2-2 I was biting my nails a bit, but then something happened that hadn't even crossed my mind as a possibility. He hit a grand slam... RIGHT TO ME! Continue reading »

MPD Field Trip: Wrigley Field Part 1

gerutcameronThe thing that I love most about Brewers fans is their ability to travel. The Brewers can't go on a road trip without someone from Wisconsin taking their vacation around wanting to see them play. While other teams may have larger fan bases, the Brewers fans are as loyal as anyone. They're like really good stalkers. I like to travel with the team myself, but I prefer to spend my money on multiple games spread across the season as opposed to spending a lot on a single series. Another thing I love? Drinking. That's why I try to take the trip down to Wrigley for at least one game a year. I'm still traveling with the team, it doesn't affect my Brewer game budget and I can drink heavily. About a month ago I picked Thursday's 1:20 game as the perfect opportunity to make my annual trip and got four bleacher tickets because I wanted sun. My crew for this day was my buddy Oscar (Brewers fan) and two other buddies (Cubs fans). We all had the simplest of instructions, prepare to get legendary.

MPD Book Club: Wrigleyworld

I read the book Wrigleyworld because A) I respected the author (Big League Stew's Kevin Kaduk) and B) the premise sounded exactly like something I wish I could do. The premise being that Kevin quits his job in Kansas City to move to Wrigleyville and attends as many Cubs games as possible without working. Getting drunk, not working and going to a ton of baseball games is pretty much the ideal lifestyle for me so I was interested, even if it was about the Cubs/Wrigleyville.

The worries that I had going into reading it is that Kevin Kaduk would turn out to be a guy like Chad, but as soon as I got into reading it Kaduk makes it real clear that he isn't one of those guys, he hates those guys and he will make fun of those guys often. Continue reading »
