Comment of the Week: Waste of space trick a** b*****

Comments, Site September 1st, 2010

Welcome to a new feature here at Miller Park Drunk, the Comment of the Week post. That's right, a long time favorite of lazy bloggers who don't feel like writing a full post is now featured right here on the #1 fringe Brewers blog on the internet. You see we love when people comment on our articles, it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and that's why we make it so easy to do. Did you know you don't even have to enter your name? It's true. Commenting is fun and easy. Who knows, if you play your cards right and start commenting next week we could be recognizing you in this very space!

This week's Comment of the Week comes from an older post, but is just too good not to recognize. The post "JASON KENDALLS EX-WIFE IS DATING ROD STEWARTS SON" was originally posted in March of this year so whoever found this post had to be searching something specific.

The original post was based on Jason Kendall's ongoing divorce from his wife Chantel and her new boyfriend, Sean Stewart, son of Rod Stewart. In the post we featured a quote where Chantel accused Jason of being addicted to Adderall. Later, after the post was published, Jason answered her claims by saying:

"I attribute those changes to the fact that I was married to an alcoholic and drug-addicted woman who abandoned our children, regularly punched me, and was unfaithful."

So yeah, other people's drama is fun.

Anyways, this week's Comment of the Week comes from Some Random Drunk with a Los Angeles, CA IP address (Sean Stewart? Another spurned lover? Diehard Kendall fan? Haha, just kidding like Kendall has a diehard fan.) who said:

She is a hooker. She has been paid for sex. She uses babies as a way to trap men and money. She is drug addict whore. Someone needs to tie her tubes. Waste of space trick ass bitch.

Alright-y then.

Good work crazy anonymous commenter, congratulations on being the winner of this week's Comment of the Week. Live it up.

Monday Mailbag: Zaun, Weeks, JJ and Cubs fans

Off-Base April 26th, 2010

Welcome to a new semi-regular feature here at the site, the Monday Mailbag. I figure if Anthony Witrado can get 500 questions at the JSOnline I should be able to get at least 5-10. If you're sad you missed out, we'll be accepting questions through our Facebook page or our twitter account on Mondays semi-regularly throughout the season.

This might end up getting long so I am not going to waste any more time and just get right into the questions.

What are the comparison stats between Zaun (Brewers) and Kendall (Royals) so far this season?
-Wendy

Depends on how you look at it, if you look at it purely on better average then Kendall is the much better player.

Batting Average
Kendall: .318
Zaun: .157

But if you include counting stats that actually matter in the box score, then it's a lot more even. That is to say, they both suck. Read the rest of this entry »

JASON KENDALLS EX-WIFE IS DATING ROD STEWARTS SON

Off-Base March 9th, 2010

This is Jason Kendall.

Jason married Chantel. Chantel is pretty smoking hot. Now they are divorced. This is Jason Kendall's ex-wife Chantel.

(Further proof that whole "becoming a professional athlete" thing can really pay off.)

Rod Stewart was a big time rock star. I know at least two people who named their daughter after his hit "Maggie May". I heard a story one time about him having his stomach pumped. This is Rod Stewart. Read the rest of this entry »

Ryan Braun’s Tavern and Money Pit

Food October 27th, 2009

moneypitI've heard so many rumors that Ryan Braun was opening a restaurant in Lake Geneva for so long that I just assumed that it was true. (Kind of like Rod Stewart having his stomach pumped.) I've know about this for awhile, but didn't want to post about it just in case it wasn't true. One day the sign out in front of the restaurant was changed to say "COMING SOON BRETT FAVRE'S STEAKHOUSE" which was funny, but also made me think that there was no way it was Braun's place because no way he'd think of something that funny. Well, it all turned out be true and yesterday news started to trickle out about it, topped off by the great Adam McCalvy doing a full write up. In the write up McCalvy says:

A group of investors led by Madison lawyer Patrick Sweeney finalized a licensing deal with Braun and Major League Baseball this month. The group is spending more than $1 million on upgrades to a former Mexican restaurant at 430 Broad St. in Lake Geneva, a resort community about 50 miles southwest of Milwaukee's Miller Park, and the idea is to open for business within 6-8 weeks.

And then:

He got a first-hand look at the progress of the restaurant on Sept. 6, the same day Braun and his teammates executed their now-famous celebration of Prince Fielder's 12th-inning home run that beat the San Francisco Giants.

Now I've worked in and around restaurants for most of my life and if there is one thing that has been said at each and every establishment that I have been fired for drinking from it's this: "The most expensive seat in a restaurant is an empty seat." With the idea being that you can have the best service, best food, stiffest drinks, the sluttiest waitresses and everything else in the world, but if there is nobody there to eat it the restaurant will fail. By their own doing this restaurant has had it's door closed since September and all summer long before that. Why? To spend over $1 million on upgrades to a place that wasn't that messed up to begin with. Of course. Read the rest of this entry »
